Have you started to think about New Year's resolutions yet? Are they always just resolutions and never come to fruition?
Health and fitness resolutions can be both good and bad. They are good in the sense that they give you a purpose to get off your bum and get moving and think about what you are putting into your body. How many of you do dry January?
Unfortunately they can also be bad because for most people they are a short term resolution with an end date. They can be too restrictive and so nearly guaranteed to fail long term. When this happens we slip back into old habits and go round and round in circles, weight up, weight down, depending on the time of the year.
